Our Mission Statement
Black Sage Studio is Colorado’s premier tattoo studio calling home to some of the best and most talented tattooers in the country. Nestled in Evergreen, a mountain town 30 minutes west of Denver, clients love making the quick escape to the mountains from the city to collect their forever art. Black Sage is home to award winning artists who have had published works in multiple books, magazines and maybe even tattooed your favorite pop star or sports hero.
We know tattoo studios can be intimidating, quick like fast food service, loud and sometimes with multiple humans in one common space. Black Sage Studio’s mission when established in 2014, was to create a warm inviting space. We pride ourselves on private rooms for each artist. This helps the artist focus on their art and your comfort. Having a client be able to focus mind-over-body during the tattooing process without all the distractions makes for a smoother session for them both.
With over 80 years cumulative experience between them all, artists may sometimes bounce ideas off of each other to bring your art work to the next level. All of the artists at Black Sage live and breathe art. Each has their own style and will ensure that they are the best fit for you and your vision. This is more of a family vibe within Black Sage, and we know you will feel those genuine relationships between us all, and hoping you too will feel that Black Sage is a home away from home.
We know that bad decisions can be made, or you have out grown a once exciting decision. Believe us, we have some bad tattoo choices from our past too and this is why we also offer laser tattoo removal for those seeking to lighten or completely remove a piece you are no longer happy with.
