Mountain Alchemy Butter
More than just a tattoo aftercare product, our butter calms inflammation, nourishes healing skin, and adds gentle aromatherapeutic support. Mountain Alchemy Butter also serves as a premium tattoo glide for artists during the tattooing process. Its smooth, nourishing texture mimics the body’s natural oils, allowing ink to flow effortlessly into the skin without disruption.
Our formula is 100% petroleum-free, which means it won’t clog needles or suffocate the skin. Instead, it supports a clean application, promotes faster healing, and leaves skin feeling soft, calm, and hydrated.
Organic Ingredients: Shea butter, cocoa butter, aloe butter, jojoba butter, jojoba oil, and rosehip oil
Organic Essential Oils: Infused with a soothing combination of frankincense, palo santo, sandalwood, chamomile, geranium, and arrowroot.
Recommended Use
Stage One: Immediate Aftercare (Use Mountain Alchemy Salve)

Apply a thin layer of Mountain Alchemy Salve to your fresh tattoo while the skin is still open and healing.

Gently wash your tattoo morning and night with warm water and mild, natural soap.
We recommend diluted Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Liquid Soap. -
Let the tattoo air dry completely before applying a thin layer of salve.

Repeat this process 3–4 times daily, making sure the salve is fully absorbed.

Note: Use the salve only with breathable covers like Tattoo Armor Pads.
Do not use with plastic wrap or second skin products like Saniderm.
Use the salve until the tattoo begins to peel or after removing any second-skin covering.
Stage Two: Peeling Phase & Ongoing Care (Switch to Mountain Alchemy Butter)

Once peeling begins, switch to Mountain Alchemy Butter to continue nourishing your skin.

Apply a thin, well-rubbed-in layer 2–3 times per day.

Continue washing your tattoo morning and night throughout the full two-week healing period.

During peeling, take shorter showers to prevent soggy skin and premature peeling.

In colder, drier seasons, you may benefit from extending your use of the butter beyond two weeks.
