Tattoo Salve (4oz)

Tattoo healing salve created by Sharon Healy and Melis Fusco, with intention, for the love of skin and essential oils.

Recommended Use: Apply a thin layer of Mountain Alchemy Salve to your fresh tattoo. Best used as a stage one in healing, while the skin is still wet and broken. Washing your tattoo morning and night with mild soap and warm water. We love and recommend Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint liquid soap, diluted. Air out the piece, and apply a thin layer of salve, 3-4 times throughout the day. Rub in salve all the way. Continue use until the peeling stage starts, this is when you can switch to a fragrance free lotion. Also during your peeling stage we recommend taking shorter showers, so that the peeling skin does not become too soggy and peel off too soon.  Do not apply any ointments on the skin if covering with plastic wrap or a second skin layer such as Sani-Derm. Can be applied to the skin if using Tattoo Armor Pads. Discontinue use if skin is showing signs of irritations such as a red rash, contact your artist or doctor for any further assistance.

Organic Ingredients: Beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil, aloe vera oil, Grapeseed oil, shea nut oil, calendula oil, vitamin E oil.
Organic Essential Oils: ylang ylang, lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree, thyme, peppermint.
